LONE PINE, BISHOP, BRIDGEPORT

Oops. No salvageable pictures from this part of a long day's drive. I just wanted to note that these three towns east of the Sierras remain a highlight of our trip: a long lunch in a Victorian Inn on the main street of Bridgeport, views of the highest mountain in California from vantage points in Lone Pine, and enjoyment of the tiny gap in the Bishop tourist trade between summer hikers and fishermen, and winter skiers. Just click on back to the navigation map to catch up to our next stop, Lake Tahoe.
