Chantey
was featured in a Cruising World article, and
lives up to Hallberg-Rassy's reputation for building sturdy Swedish cruisers
for the rigors of the North Atlantic. Its overbuilt '70s solid fiberglass
hull provides the foundation for a thoroughly refitted and comfortable
boat that will outshine boats 25 years younger in any harbor. Her shoal
draft is especially well-suited for the Chesapeake, the Keys, and the
Bahamas. She's a terrific sailor in a breeze, and a powerhouse motor-sailor,
when you need to get home in any weather in safety. Upgraded by a previous
owner of three Rasmus 35s, and finished by the current owner, who has
added radar, chartplotter, and other upgrades, the boat is ready to cruise
anywhere. A hard dodger and full canvas center cockpit enclosure make
this boat a three-season sailor's dream. Chantey
is as well-equipped as any Hallberg-Rassy 35 currently on the market,
and looks as good as most boats a fraction of her age. The current owner
must sell due to reasons of health after only a few months of ownership.
Don't pass up this opportunity to own one of the great "classic plastic"
boats of our era.

Some photos were taken before 2005 updates (radar pole, JRC 1800 radar/chartplotter
display at helm, boarding ladder, cockpit table, teak refinishing, etc.)
