I felt too bad to plan any ambitious exploring for our last day in Spain, but decided I could try to take the Metro to have lunch in the beach area of Barceloneta with Fran. We sat on the beach, had a nice plaza lunch, and ended up walking for miles--but at a slow pace. The last dinner of our vacation was a rather sad affair of takeout and room service in the hotel, while we packed for the next day's 20 hours of travel back to Maine, via Madrid and Boston. All in all, one of our best vacations, and we LOVED our month in Marseillan!
