Our rental house is the one painted bright yellow. The small fish Fran is cooking are sardines. The woman in the hat is Manuela, who manages the rental for the owners, and who arrived by bicycle to greet our arrival, and to acquaint us with the house. The sun deck is on the roof, and connected to the top floor by sliding glass doors. The house has 3 bedrooms on the second floor, with two full baths. The bottom floor is the garage and laundry, and the top floor is the kitchen and living area. The back wall of the house is part of the ancient city walls, which were more or less circular. In the view of the village from above, the roof of our place can be seen on the near perimeter of the curved old town about 60 yards from the church. It was a very comfortable house.
