East
from Marseillan on the road towards the large fishing port of Sète,
there are two villages of note: Mèze and Bouzigues. Mèze
is a quiet village with a long curved waterfront port hosting many
restaurants, while Bouzigues is the site of an oyster-farming operation
that provides a sturdy proportion of all of the oysters of France.
Not surprisingly, the restaurants facing the sea feature oysters (and
more oysters).
